Interview

What was your first bike?
Some model of Huffy, can't remember what exactly it was called. But it was supposed to resemble a dirtbike.

What/Where is your favorite place to ride?
My backyard ramp, The T-1 ramp

What are the top 3 Songs on your playlist (Band, Genre) -
This is always changing, right now I would have to say: Russian Circles, ISIS, & Radical Face

Who did you look up to most when you first started riding?
Definitely the local guys I grew up riding with. Jason Lonergan, John "LUC-E" Englebert, Mel Cody and Chris Hallman.

What would your career be if you didn’t ride BMX?
This is almost impossible to answer. If I had never ridden BMX, I would probably never have found most of what interests me these days. I would have to assume I'd be a different person.

Do you have a saying or motto you live your life by?
This one is always changing as well, but the one I have to say I've been relating most to is: "I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it." There is something to learn in everything!

Any advice for the next generation of BMX riders?
Riding a bike can be whatever you want it to be. Even if you can't find one example elsewhere that represents what it is to you. As long as it feels right inside, then go with it.
