WHAT INSPIRES YOUR RIDING ON A DAILY BASIS?

Being on the top step of the podium inspires me to get up every day and put in all the hard training. Greg Minnaar for sure! He is one of the greatest downhillers to ever live and he is a South African which is a huge inspiration and finally probably the biggest reason I get amped to ride every day is just to go out and have fun on my bike when I’m with my mates.

IF YOU WEREN'T A MTB RIDER, WHAT WOULD YOU BE:

Definitely a moto x rider or bmxer, would have to be something on the extreme sports side ha ha.

THINGS TO DO BESIDES MTB?

I ride a lot of moto, dirt jumping, xc mountain biking, bmx, building jumps or tracks, jam some guitar now and then and chill with mates!

FAVORITE PLACE TO RIDE:

Favourite place I’ve ever ridden has to be Whistler, Canada, Nowhere in the world can beat the trails they have there. But favourite place I ride locally is probably at a little track just up from cascades that some of my friends and I but, super fun!

WHAT DO YOU SEE IN MTB RIGHT NOW THAT MAKES YOU EXCITED FOR THE FUTURE OF THE SPORT?

To be really honest downhill seems to be at a bit at a low point at the moment, tracks have got a lot more easy, less technical and not as knarly as they used to be a few years back. I really hope they will improve and venues of races will be chosen on the quality of the track and not the convenience of the venue. Other than that on the local scene there are a lot of young up and coming riders, which makes me amped to see. These guys are definitely going to be the future of our sport.

BEST THING ABOUT RIDING FOR FOX:

Always looking the best and most tricked out rider at a race ha ha, All the fox kits look so good! Since I first started watching moto and downhill on the tv, I’ve always thought Fox make some of the raddest kit out there, so to ride for Fox now is like a dream come true!

FAVORITE FOX PRODUCT:

Ah there is way to many! But if I had to pick one out it would have to be my Fox Carbon Rampage pro helmet. Best looking and most comfortable helmet on the market for sure!
