Pro News- The second stop on the Aussie Leg of the World qualifying surf series took place at Newcastle last weekend. It was a 6 Star rated event for both men's and Woman's which hold valuable points for World tour qualification. Both Nage and Aussie Fox team rider Cahill Bell-Warren were on fire the whole event. They both finished up 5th place and this gave them solid points and great momentum to start the year off strong. After two back to back strong results, this has Nage sitting 4th overall in the rankings for the Woman's Qualification tour.
Am News- NSSA Southeast District Contest #6 was held this past Saturday at Spanish House near Sebastian Inlet, Florida. Conditions were overcast and surf was 2-3 ft and clean. Luke Marks was the standout of the day taking both the Open Juniors and Open Men’s titles. Zach Marks also had a stellar day making both Open finals, chasing his older brother Luke with a respectable 2nd in Open Juniors and 4th in Open Men’s. In his first full year of competing, younger brother Jack took the Open Mini Grom’s title after linking together 2 of the longer lefts of the afternoon. Caroline was not to be outdone by her other brothers and won both the Open Women’s and Open Girls divisions in dominating fashion and a very solid backhand attack. It is safe to say the Mark's clan took over this weekend and look forward to more coming from the Marks family.
