ROCZEN RACES TO 2ND OVERALL VICTORY IN BRAZIL

Teka Suzuki Europe World MX2's Ken Roczen defeated World Champion Marvin Musquin to post two victories and record his most comprehensive triumph of the 2010 MX2 FIM Motocross World Championship at a sun-kissed Campo Grande circuit for the Grand Prix of Brazil.
The flamboyant German went 1-1 on the fuel-injected and capable RM-Z250 and won a new legion of fans thanks to his duelling action with Musquin and mastery of the many jumps and leaps on the hard-pack and rough red dirt. 21,500 spectators revelled in the contest as the two protagonists pulled away from the pack in both races and soaked up the spotlight. Roczen was able to elude the Frenchman in the latter stages of the first 35 minute and 2-lap dash under hot sunshine and crossed the line over 20 seconds in fr ... More >

Fox goes 1 - 2 - 3 at USA Nationals

Fox riders had a great day at the ninth round of the AMA Pro Motocross series at Unadilla as Ryan Dungey went 1-1 to take his eighth overall win in a row and team mate Clement Desalle went 2-2 for second overall for the day.
Dungey and Desalle dominated the motos at Unadilla. In the first moto, Dungey showed he was ready to race and ready to win: He took charge immediately by grabbing the holeshot and never looked back as Desalle, who's currently second in points in the MX1 GP series, took second off the start. Dungey led the race wire-to-wire and by the end of the moto, he was nearly 13 seconds ahead of the rest. Desalle made an impressive showing by following Dungey to the finish line to take the second spot on the podium.
At the start of moto 2, De ... More >

Team Suzuki Press Office - August 8.
Rockstar Teka Suzuki World MX1's Clement Desalle finished runner-up for the fourth time this season at the Grand Prix of Czech Republic and the 12th round of 15 in the FIM MX1 Motocross World Championship.
The podium appearance in front of 21,000 spectators represented the Belgian's 10th trophy in his first year with the factory team and onboard the factory RM-Z450WS, his seventh rostrum celebration in a row and the second in two years at the Loket circuit.
The 21 year old took his fourth pole position of the season yesterday in difficult and very wet conditions but thankfully the track drained and dried under brighter skies on Sunday. Despite the absence of heavy mud around the mostly single-lin ... More >

ROCZEN TAKES MOTO WIN AND 2ND OVERALL AT LOKET

en Roczen flicked his Teka Suzuki Europe World MX2 fuel-injected RM-Z250 to a fifth moto victory of the season and gained second position overall at a 21,000-packed Loket circuit for the Grand Prix of Czech Republic.
The fourth podium result from the last five rounds of the FIM Motocross World Championship meant that the German was again one of the main protagonists across another difficult terrain; just one week after his maiden success of 2010 in the near-impossible sand of Lommel in Belgium.
A generous portion of the crowd cheered the 16 year old after he seized the holeshot and escaped from his peers in the first moto at the 12th round of 15 in the FIM competition. A less-than-ideal start in the second affair of 35 minutes and 2 laps meant that the st ... More >

ROCZEN TOASTS 1ST OVERALL TRIUMPH AT LOMMEL

Team Suzuki Press Office - August 1.
Teka Suzuki Europe World MX2's Ken Roczen has come within minutes of celebrating Grand Prix success on two previous occasions this season. At a warm and cloudy Lommel for the Limburg round of the FIM Motocross World Championship, the talented German finally obtained his overdue first triumph of 2010 and on the 2010 RM-Z250.
The teenager seemed to make light work of a very difficult terrain both technically and physically on Saturday. He was fastest in pre-qualification and then beat World Champion Marvin Musquin to secure his fourth pole position of the year. The many laps of testing and training in the gnarly Belgian powder seemed to pay off as Roczen was more than proficient across one of the hardest surfaces the ... More >
