Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey became only the 2nd rookie to ever win the AMA 450cc Motocross Championship (Ricky Carmichael was the first). Speaking of firsts, Ryan became the only rookie to win both the Supercross & Motocross Championships in the premier class in the same year as well.

With two rounds still remaining, Dungey is tied for most wins in a season (9) with RC and looks to break that record at the next round at Steel City in Delmont, PA this upcoming weekend. Ryan has won nine-straight overalls and an incredible 10 motos in a row. In fact he's gone 1-1 at every race since Red Bud on 7/4/10.
