This is stage one of the selection process to elect the esteemed 24 invitees for the Quiksilver In Memory of Eddie Aikau. Two Straight Victories for Perth Standlick at Shonan Super Kids Challenge

HIRATSUKA CITY, Kanagawa/Japan (Sunday, August 15, 2010) – Day 2 and the final day for the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Japan Pro Junior Qualifying Series commenced this morning at 9am at Hiratsuka beach. The local weather at Hiratsuka today was partly cloudy with fair skies to create an excellent final day.
The waves were in the 1 to 2 ft.(0.5meters) range and rose along with the change of tide and winds.
4 girls Nao Omura JPN, Reika Noro JPN, Natsuki Suda JPN and Minato Takahashi JPN moved to the finals. Last week at Chiba Noro claimed victory but this week at HIratsuka Oomura fights back and claims 2nd victory for 2010.
