Andrew Gesler and team Heritage Surf & Sport took the win at the Oakley Northeast Surf Shop Team Challenge at Casio Pier NJ! The early morning surf check looked dismal but waves increased in size and quality all day, giving the 8 cometing northeast surf shop teams some really fun contestable conditions. Gesler brought out his small wave weapon and took home the result. The Heritage Surf & Sport team will be competing at the Oakley Surf Shop National Championships in Semptember. Team Captain Gesler explained that their strategy has been successful for the past couple of years, so it’s pretty much set. Ian Bloch said the team tries to give Gesler as much time as possible to score big and whammy. “I think patience played a huge role for us today,” said Moran.
